The whole construction of the Toshiba Satellite C660D-10W doesn’t look or feel expensive, but it does feel very solid and well-made. It's also being the lightest of the group at only 2.3kg. Battery life is also better than most, making it a better travel companion for those who want a full-size device.

Comment
Toshiba: Toshiba Corporation is a multinational conglomerate manufacturing company, headquartered in Japan. The company's main business is in Infrastructure, Consumer Products, and Electronic devices and components. Toshiba-made Semiconductors are among the Worldwide Top 20 Semiconductor Sales Leaders. Toshiba is one of the biggest international notebook-manufacturer. There exist many reviews for Toshiba models.
ATI Radeon HD 4250: Onboard graphics card (in the RS880M chipset) for AMD processors with Avivo HD support and technically a higher clocked HD 4200.
AMD Radeon HD 6310: Integrated graphics card in the Zacate netbook processors (e.g. E-350 and E-240) featuring an UVD3 video decoder and no dedicated memory.
AMD Radeon HD 6330M: Should be based on the old HD 4330 with 80 shader processors and DirectX10.1 support (altough the AMD webpage points to a HD 5430).

AMD Athlon II:
P340: Entry level dual core processor for 13"+ laptops featuring a DDR3 memory controller.
AMD V-Series:
V140: Entry level single core processor with an integrated DDR3 memory controller. Due to the high clock speed, the CPU should be much faster than Atom CPUs.
AMD E-Series:
E-240: Low power single core processor with an integrated graphics cards. The processor is a about 1/3 faster than a similar clocked Atom processor and the GPU part about as fast as an Nvidia ION (2).
E-350: Dual Core low power processor with an integrated graphics cards. The processor is on a level with Celeron SU2300 (1.2 GHz) and the GPU part about as fast as an Nvidia ION (2).
15.6: 15 inch display-variants are the standard and are used for more than the half of all notebooks. 15.4 inch display with 16:10 are the standard for notebook displays. However nowadays, more and more 16:9 displays with 15.6 inch appear. The reason why so many people like displays with medium size is, that this size is not exhausting for the eyes, does not need too much energy and the laptops can be kept quite compact.
» To find out how fine a display is, see our DPI List.
2.3 kg:
These sub-notebooks weight less than the average of all notebooks, but represent a heavier class of weight among the sub-notebooks. 13 inch displays are normal for this class of weight.
2.6 kg:
This notebook is lighter than the average of all notebooks. It is too heavy for sub-notebooks. 14 inch displays are normal for this class of weight.
69%: This rating is bad. Most notebooks are better rated. This is not a recommendation for purchase.
