The Portégé Z10t is a competent enough hybrid laptop/tablet device, although Toshiba has missed an opportunity to extend the battery life of the system by adding a second battery, however small, into the keyboard dock. As it stands, the battery life of just five hours is not good enough for a full working day, which hampers the effectiveness of such a lightweight and portable system that is clearly intended for mobile use.

The Toshiba Z10T is good value, but it falls short of the best alternatives due to its average battery life and basic design. It has some plus points, but the overall package isn't that exciting.

This is a standard display format for tablet computers or small convertibles. You see more on the screen than on a smartphone but you can't use big resolutions well. On the other hand, mobility is not a problem.
