Tesla is rolling out fresh purchase incentives for customers in China this October. According to details available on Tesla China’s official website, these offers, available across select models, will run through October 31.
The updated Model 3 is receiving some of the most significant benefits. Buyers can access an 8,000 yuan (about $1,100) insurance subsidy and up to five years of interest-free financing. Through Tesla’s referral program, customers are also eligible for an 8,000 yuan paint credit, reducing the cost of premium color options. In addition, orders placed in October qualify for 5,000 km of free Supercharging.
Tesla’s best-selling Model Y is also included in the promotion. Purchasers can take advantage of five-year, zero-interest financing and the same 8,000 yuan referral paint credit. The new six-seat Model Y L, introduced in August, is eligible for three years of 0% financing, alongside the referral program paint credit.
For premium vehicles including the Model S, Model X, Model 3, and Model Y, Tesla is offering Full Self-Driving (FSD) transfer. The incentive allows existing owners with the FSD package to carry it over to a new vehicle, a feature that has been a key driver of upgrades in other regions.
The incentives mark Tesla’s latest push to maintain sales momentum in the competitive Chinese electric vehicle market as the fourth quarter begins.
