It’s been quite some time now that Sony has refreshed or upgraded its VAIO range of notebooks. But now, Sony announces that its as many as three series of VAIO beauties are up for some minor upgrades here and there, keeping in mind the winter season and the holidays around. Starting with the 16.4-inch VAIO F, it gets a GeForce GT 425M 1GB GPU for an additional expense of $50 only, plus two USB 3.0 ports, a gigantic 2 Terabyte storage capacity, a Quad Core processor, a TV tuner card and lots more. The Vaio L all-in-one touch screen computer on the other hand will now pack in a Blu-ray burner and will be priced at $2,199.
Additionally, the very potent VAIO E Series laptops get performance boosts in the form of 2.53GHz Core i5-460M processor for the VAIO EA and 2.66GHz Core i5-580M processor for the VAIO EB, while fetching an additional $130 and $230 respectively. Both laptops also get more graphics power with the ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5650 graphics (with 1GB video) RAM which will set you back by another $100.
