Prepare for Ivy! Schenker Notebooks, the German gaming laptop builder, releases its new gamer onto the market just in time for the launch of Intel's latest HM77 chipset. Everything is set to go for Intel's new processors, but Sandy Bridge CPUs are installed in the devices - for now.
Schenker XMG P502 PRO – Review
Source: Gadgetmix English
The 77Wh battery delivers above four hours of medium usage, thanks to NVidia’s Optimus switching mothballing the GPU when it’s not needed. A truly magnificent machine, and with that Ivy Bridge-compatible chipset, so future-proof you’d be crazy to buy it just yet. Not that you’d regret it by any means.

NVIDIA GeForce GTX 675M:

An upcoming high-end graphics card for large notebooks expected to launch with Ivy Bridge processors in the first half of 2012

» Further information can be found in our Comparison of Mobile Graphics Cards and the corresponding Benchmark List.

Intel Core i7: The Intel Core i7 for laptops is based on the LG1156 Core i5/i7 CPU for desktops. The base clock speed of the CPUs is relatively low, but because of a huge Turbo mode, the cores can dynamically overclock to up to 3.2 GHz (920XM). Therefore, the CPU can be as fast as high clocked dual-core CPUs (using single threaded applications) but still offer the advantage of 4 cores. Because of the large TDP of 45 W / 55 W, the CPU is only intended for large laptops.

2670QM: Fast Quad-core processor clocked at 2.2-3.1 GHz based on the Sandy Bridge architecture with an integrated graphics card and dual-channel DDR3 memory controller.

3.22 kg:

This weight is representative for typical laptops with a 14-16 inch display-diagonal.

3.22 kg:

86.75%: This is a good rating above average. Nevertheless you should not forget, that 10-15% of all notebook-models get a better rating.
