With more than 5 million copies sold to date, Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 is enjoying a resplendent success. But recently, in an interview with The Washington Post, Guillaume Broche revealed some information about Sandfall Interactive's next game.
It is important to note that Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 is a game that appeals to millions of people, and this is due to its unique story, but also to its RPG style, which has brought a breath of fresh air to the genre. However, while this title was a huge success, that doesn't mean that all the studio's other games will enjoy the same fate.
And that's not all, because Guillaume Broche points out that other types of games with different stories and different gameplay could emerge in the coming years:
"We don't want to be constrained by story, art style or gameplay in whatever we want to make next, so nothing to say. We just want it to feel authentic, and made with love."
But it's impossible to know what the studio's next game might look like, even though Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 will benefit from a sequel. In addition, a major update is planned for this game, allowing players to discover many new features and a new zone.
Finally, it should be noted that Sandfall Interactive is a small company with only 33 employees. And to maintain such a high quality of game, it is necessary to take time for development and not to rush into certain tasks.
