Samsung Galaxy S6 with curved display confirmed by T-Mobile teaser
With less than a week to go until Samsung officially unveils the Galaxy S6, T-Mobile USA recently posted a photo of the smartphone, one that clearly shows that the upcoming Samsung flagship will feature a curved display and a metal frame. In recent days, Samsung itself posted a series of teasers, one of which hinted that the Galaxy S6 (or at least one version of the smartphone) will come with a curved display. The recent T-Mobile teaser moves past hints and actually reveals the curved display and the metallic frame.
At the moment, we don't know if the Galaxy S6 will come with a single curved edge like the Samsung Galaxy Note Edge, or if the display will curve towards both sides as previously rumored. Yesterday, Samsung posted a teaser of its own which hinted at a metallic build, and the photo posted today by T-Mobile confirms a metallic frame. It's not clear if the back of the smartphone will also be made out of metal or a plastic substitute. T-Mobile's teaser also reveals that the Galaxy S6, like the vast majority of Samsung smartphones, will feature a physical home button.
The biggest question regarding the Galaxy S6 is now weather the South Korean manufacturer will also release a "standard" version of the Galaxy S6 with a flat display. All rumors and speculation regarding the Galaxy S6 will finally be over this Sunday on March 1st when Samsung will officially unveil the Galaxy S6.
