Some recent Realme phones have impressed with their large 5000mAh power-packs at affordable levels. Now, it seems the next generation on may have even better battery life. This OEM has reportedly made a new component with 1000mAh more.

Some consumers truly value screen-on time in their phones: hence the development of some Samsung Galaxy M-series offerings that augment their mid-range appeal with batteries of up to 6000mAh in capacity. Now, it seems another OEM, Realme, is preparing to get in on this trend.

It comes in the form of leaks from @stufflistings and @_the_tech_guy on Twitter purporting to show official safety and regulatory documentation for a new power-pack made by this company. They show that it is rated for 5860mAh, which will probably be rounded up to 6000mAh on spec sheets.

This new part - which apparently has the model name BLP793 - may thus be destined for low- to mid-tier phones of the future in need of just such a unique selling point to stand out from the crowd. Let's hope for its sake that Samsung does not have something like a 7000mAh counterpart in the works right now.
