Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 SM8735

The Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 SM8735 is a fairly high-performance SoC for use in tablets and smartphones and a successor to the 8s Gen 3. Unveiled in April 2025, it features a single super-fast Cortex-X4 core running at up to 3.2 GHz along with three clusters of slower and more power-efficient Cortex-A720 cores - 7 in total - running at various clock speeds.
The Adreno 825 serves as the integrated GPU here.
Built using a 4 nm process, the SM8735 has lots of useful features, such as:
- Native USB 3.1 Gen 2 support (up to 10 Gb/s);
- UFS 4.0 for up to 3-4 GB/s reads and writes;
- 1080p video capture at 480 fps;
- 5G, Bluetooth 6, Wi-Fi 7 (including the 6 GHz band)
