Motorola introduces two new tablets in Germany

By February 2012 Motorola Mobility Germany, will release its two new tablets which are more powerful from their earlier model

After the success of the Motorola XOOM, the Motorola Mobility of Germany is all set to hit the tablet market once more with two of their new tablets. The two models are Motorola XOOM 2 and Motorola XOOM 2 Media Edition. These tablets are expected to be made available by February 2012.

Both these tablets will feature 3G and Wi-Fi capabilities; however, the Media version boosts powerful productivity, rich entertainment and customizable experiences, that will be sufficient for customers to keep up their pace along with their lifestyle. 

According to Ralf Gerbershagen, Vice President and general manager for Europe of Mobile devices of Motorola Mobility, Tablets have become a must have tool for a lot of jobs like stay connected, getting work done or for fun at home or even on the roads. He also mentions his excitement about these two devices that are built on the success of the original Motorola XOOM, but now will deliver a more powerful tablet experience. 

Both the models feature Android 3.2 version. They are powered by a dual-core 1.2GHz processor, and also have a brilliant display with Corning Gorilla Glass and splash guard coating. They have a 1GB RAM and for storage both have a space of 16GB. However, the Motorola XOOM 2 may also extend its storage up to 32GB. 

Both the devices are equipped with two cameras one in front of 1.3megapixels while the other is at the rear of 5megapixels. This camera is made capable to provide features like auto focus, digital zoom and even LED flash. 

These two tablets also feature the new MotoCast 1 application that lets the users to stream all their music, photos, videos and even documents between PC or Mac and tablet without the use of any media tool, application or cords. 

The Motorola XOOM 2 has a 10.1inch HD display and has been loaded with features like Virtual Private Network support and date encryption which will really be helpful for the business users. It also features MONOPRINT integrated into the key application, which helps the users to print wirelessly from the tablet. 

This model is lighter than the XOOM model by 100grams and weighs around 599g (21.12Ounce). It is also designed to withstand poolside use, or we may say spilled drinks or even some rain. The battery it uses is also a bit enhanced from the one used earlier, as this one provides 10hours of video playback. 

The Motorola XOOM 2 Media Edition is a bit smaller than the other with an 8.2inch screen and also weighs less that is around 386g (13.62Ounce). As this model is optimized for entertainment so is provided with a 178 degree viewing angle. This model has a 20 percent improved graphics performance over the original Motorola XOOM which will help it runs games smoothly. It also features an adaptive virtual surround sound with booming bass. 

The Media Edition also sports as a universal remote control for home entertainment equipment with the pre-loaded personalized custom remote control application. 

Both these devices can also be connected with a lot of accessories to make some functions easier. These accessories include work and play kit, HD multimedia station for connecting it to HDTV, and Bluetooth keyboard and mouse.
