Motorola announces a release date for the Moto G71 in India
The Motorola Moto G71 was the first Android smartphone to launch with the new, budget-5G Snapdragon 695 processor, to which it adds a 50MP main sensor and an AMOLED display. Those specs might make the device very attractive in markets such as India; however, it has yet to go on sale there.
Now, the OEM's division in that country has confirmed a release date for the G71. It already has pages on the OEM's usual retail partner, Flipkart, although they have not gone live since the phone's recent launch. The new listings reveal that it will sell for INR 22,999 (~US$312) as a 6GB RAM/128GB internal storage SKU in its Neptune Green or Arctic Blue colors, just not when they will be available.
Now, Motorola India has revealed that the Moto G71 will be released on January 19, 2022. It has indicated that the phone will ship with a 33W TurboCharger from this date, and can be ordered with a 17% introductory discount that brings it down to INR 18,999 (~$257).
