Motorola Moto E13 previewed with Android 13 (Go Edition) in three colours
Motorola has unveiled the Moto E13, its first budget smartphone of the year and one that the company announced alongside four new Moto G series smartphones. The Moto E13 has no direct predecessor, like the Moto G13. Instead, the Moto E13 slots in below the Moto E22i and the Moto E22. Presumably, Motorola plans to refresh these smartphones this year too.
Unsurprisingly, the Moto E13 is a budget affair, which Motorola reflects with a €119.99 launch price. The Moto E13 contains the same UNISOC Tiger T606 chipset as the Moto E32 though, which means that it should be up to 1.73x more powerful than the Moto E22 and its MediaTek Helio G37. Additionally, the Moto E13 has 2 GB of RAM, 64 GB of expandable storage and a 5,000 mAh battery that supports 10 W charging.
Moreover, Motorola equips the Moto E13 with a 6.5-inch IPS display that outputs at 60 Hz and 1,600 x 720 pixels. Elsewhere, the Moto E13 has a 13 MP rear-facing camera, a 5 MP front-facing camera and utilises Android 13 (Go Edition), not regular Android 13. The Moto E13 will be available in Aurora Green, Cosmic Black and Creamy White colourways. Motorola has not confirmed pricing for other regions yet, but it has outlined availability in select markets across Africa, Asia Pacific, Latin America and the Middle East.
