The individually-lit RGB Silver keys provide a short 4 ms keystroke and just 1.2 mm of travel for faster gaming reaction times.

The MSI GT83VR Titan SLI notebook will be receiving a little more than just a simple Kaby Lake update. Aside from the new Core i7-7920HQ and i7-7820HK CPUs, the mechanical keyboard is now full RGB and individually backlit. The backlight intensity and range can be configured to respond to certain gaming conditions like current ammunition or life percentage via the GameSense and SteelSeries Engine 3 software.

Additionally, the previous MX Cherry Brown on the older GT83 series will now be replaced by new MX Cherry Silver switches. These gaming-centric clear switches have a shorter drop and thus faster actuation point than an equivalent Brown switch for more responsive gaming.

Otherwise, the remaining core specifications of the notebook are identical to the existing Skylake GT83. This includes the 18.4-inch display, GTX 1070/1080 SLI graphics, 32/64 GB DDR4 RAM, 2x NVMe RAID SSDs + 2.5-inch bay, ESS Sabre HiFi Audio DAC, and the signature MSI Dragon logo on the front and back sides if the chassis.

The 1070 SLI SKU will launch for 3999 Euros with higher-end configuration options reaching over 5500 Euros.
