Lenovo has introduced the Motorola Moto G06 Power at IFA 2025. This new affordable smartphone is a slightly better variant than the non-Power phone, which was also showcased at the same event. As the suffix of the model suggests, the main upgrade is the battery.
To be specific, while the non-Power version of the phone comes with a 5,200 mAh battery, the Moto G06 Power packs a 7,000 mAh one. The charge speed also sees a bump, from 10 W to 18 W. While this isn't the fastest charging speed that phones these days come with, this lineup of G phones generally resides in the entry-level price segment.
The other specs are similar to the non-Power version of the phone. For example, the Motorola Moto G06 Power is powered by the same Helio G81 Extreme SoC, which is an entry-level processor from MediaTek. It's paired with up to 8 GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 256 GB of onboard storage.
There's a built-in microSD card slot that can hold up to a 1 TB memory card (SanDisk 512GB Ultra microSDXC curr. $34.99 on Amazon), and the RAM can be extended by up to 4 GB with the virtual memory tech. Camera-wise, the back of the Moto G06 Power has a 50 MP camera, while the front comes with an 8 MP selfie shooter.
In terms of the display, the Motorola Moto G06 Power sports a 6.88-inch LCD screen with a "HD+" resolution and a 120 Hz refresh rate. Lenovo claims that it can reach a brightness level of 600 nits.
Other highlights of this new affordable phone include multiple camera-enhancing features, stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos, and IP64 water and dust resistance. Lenovo has yet to reveal the specific pricing and availability details of the Moto G06 Power.
