LG G4: alleged press render leaks online

Teaser
It looks like an "early" press render of the upcoming LG G4 has leaked online. If this leak turns out to be accurate, the LG G4 will draw some design inspiration from the LG G Flex 2.

Yesterday an alleged press render of the upcoming LG G4 has surfaced online. The image was posted on Twitter by Steve Hemmerstoffer, one of the authors from French tech blog nowhereelse.fr. According to Hemmerstoffer, this is an "early" render of the LG G4, and not the final version. If this leak proves to be accurate, the LG G4 will come with a curved display, much like the LG G Flex 2, a smartphone introduced by the South Korean manufacturer back in early January at CES 2015.

The image, which quickly spread on Twitter and made headlines on most tech blogs, shows a design that's highly similar to that of the 5.5-inch G Flex 2, with the similarities extending to what seems to be a curved display. Since the LG G3 didn't come with a curved display, there are many voices who raise questions regarding the validity of this leaked press render. On the other hand, it is possible for LG to try and spice things up with the G4, and a curved display would certainly fit the bill.

The leaked render also shows LG maintaining the back-mounted power and volume buttons. Other notable elements revealed by the the leaked press render include a protruding main camera flanked by a laser autofocus system and an LED flash. According to Hemmerstoffer, the curved LG G4 will measure 76.5 x 148.9 x 9.9 mm.
