Huawei’s MediaPad to hit the market with T-Mobile

Huawei’s MediaPad, a 7-inch tablet is all geared up for its release as another T-Mobile’s 4G device. Although there has been no announcement made for the same, but it is rumoured as it will be announced at the fall CTIA event next month. The tab was to be launched by August but because of a few delays it is still waiting for its release.

This model is powered by Android 3.2 Honeycomb and has a 7inch IPS display, which supports a resolution up to 1280 x 800pixels. It is provided with a 1.2GHz dual core processor, and it is equipped with a 16GB internal storage. An expandable micro SD card slot is also provided.

Two cameras are added to the device one at the front of 1.3megapixels and another to its rear of 5megapixels. This model also supports 4G mobile broadband but till now it’s not sure if it can compete with the Samsung Galaxy S2 and HTC Amaze 4G with their incredible speed of 42Mbps.

This model can also compete with the Amazon Kindle Fire as the price of this device is quite the same, at $199. Though the price is same, this model has quite a few plus points over the features provided in Amazon. Though this price is rumoured but according to the rumour this model would also have a 2 year contract with the same price. If all these rumours come to be true then the customers will really be happy and will be going with the MediaPad.
