Reviews for the HP Envy TouchSmart Ultrabook 4t-1200

89% HP Envy TouchSmart 4 Touchscreen Ultrabook Laptop Review
Source: Tweaktown English
For a college student who doesn't game, the TouchSmart 4 could be the perfect mix of performance, portability and battery life. While an SSD would be preferred, the 500GB hard drive could come in handy for students who need to take lots of data with them, and it doesn't cost a fortune to buy. Worth noting is the inclusion of Beats audio. HP assures me that they've done more than just stick a Beats logo onto the chassis. According to HP, they've reworked the audio system with the help of Beats to achieve the best sound performance possible. It appears to have worked as the sound is loud and high-quality.

Intel HD Graphics 4000: Processor graphics card in the high end Ivy Bridge models. Offers a different clock speed in the different CPU models (ULV to desktop quad core) and therefore a different performance.

Modern games should be playable with these graphics cards at low settings and resolutions. Casual gamers may be happy with these cards.

3337U: Ivy-Bridge-based ULV-CPU in Q1 2013. Offers a core clock of 1.8 - 2.7 GHz and an HD 4000 GPU (350 - 1100 MHz). The TDP is rated at 17 W.» Further information can be found in our Comparison of Mobile Processsors.

14.0": 14 inch display size is a mixture between the small formats of subnotebooks and the 15 inch standard display. The reason why so many people like displays with medium size is, that this size is not exhausting for the eyes, does not need too much energy and the laptops can be kept quite compact.» To find out how fine a display is, see our DPI List.

1.8 kg: These sub-notebooks weight less than the average of all notebooks, but represent a heavier class of weight among the sub-notebooks. 12 inch displays are normal for this class of weight.
