The free game collection of Steam has once again expanded. Looking back, a good number of newly released free games were spotted throughout the first half of May 2025. Now, more of these new freebies have been spotted by X account @SteamGamesPC. Here's more information about some of them:

• Bygone Dreams: Prophecy - launched on May 6, this free game on Steam currently has a "Very Positive" rating with 109 player reviews. It's an action-adventure entry that's said to have challenging boss battles and puzzles.
• FaeTerra - described as a PVP-focused auto-battler with deep player leveling and ranked leaderboards. This Steam free game became available on May 6, and it currently sports a "Positive" rating with 22 player reviews.
• 1306 Chapter 1: Reactors & Robots - a third-person story-driven free game where players are tasked to keep a power plant from exploding. This freebie launched on Steam on May 8.
• Cleaner Company Prologue - said to be a mix of Crime Scene Cleaner and Viscera Cleanup Detail with a co-op mode. It became available on Steam on May 9 and currently has a "Mixed" rating with 184 reviews.
• Double Down - described as a roguelike FPS with an interesting player leveling system. This free game launched on Steam on May 6, and it currently has a "Positive" rating that's based on 38 reviews.
• Chaos Classroom - an action-roguelite with hordes of enemies and challenging levels. It launched on Steam as a free game on May 7.
• Neon Digital - a 1v1 or 3v3 arena shooter with elements from games like Portal and chaotic battles. This Steam free game became available on May 5.
• Reborn: An Idle Roguelike RPG - described as an idle game with a crafting system. It launched on Steam as a free game on May 9 and currently has a "Mixed" rating that's based on 89 player reviews.
