AMD Turion II N570
The AMD Turion II Dual-Core N570 ist a mobile laptop processor with two cores. It is based on the desktop Athlon II processors (due to the missing level 3 cache) and offers an integrated DDR3-1066 memory controller. The connection to the chipset is done with a single 16-Bit HyperTransport 3.0 link clocked at 1800MHz (3600MHz effective).
Compared to Intel Core 2 Duo processors at that clock range, the Turion II offers less cache and is therefore slower. Furthermore, comparing two CPUs with the same amount of cache, the Intel CPUs are still a bit faster (by 100 MHz on the average).
With 35 Watt TDP, the CPU is intended for mid sized laptops with a display size of 14-inches and larger.
