10.1 Inch Galaxy Tab II confirmed for MWC
The rumors keep rolling in before the Mobile World Congress kicks off tomorrow in Spain; with Samsung grabbing the headlines this time around. According to Pocket-lint’s sources and internal documents acquired by Engadget, Samsung will debut a number of devices tomorrow; including the elusive Galaxy Tab II.
According to the leaked documents, the Galaxy Tab II will feature a 10.1” display with a 1280x800 pixel resolution, a dual-core Qualcomm 1 GHz processor, an 8MP camera, and Android OS. The included Android OS will be the latest Honeycomb edition, but will come as a stock version without any Samsung modifications (similar to the Motorola Xoom).
Engadget managed to unearth a couple more things, as the documents point to an unknown 4” WSVGA display with 3D capabilities and the Galaxy S II being announced tomorrow. Unfortunately, that was all that was made available and we will have to wait till Samsung’s press conference at noon EST for more details.
