iPad receives 95% of tablet web traffic

Recent figures from Chitika revealed that most of the tablet internet users are Apple users, with a 95% of tablet internet users

From some recent release of data from Chitika, it has been pointed out that Apple devices are still in top of the business. Some other market stats also showed that iPad’s possesses about 68 percent of the market share. However the Chitika reports said that most of the internet traffic from the tablets is from the iPads.

About 95 percent of the tablet web traffic is completely from iPads. According to the researcher’s blog post, the analysis was made on the base of data’s from the ad networks for impressions stemming from various tablets in the network.

While out of the rest of the 5 percent of web traffic, 1.22 percent was from the Samsung Galaxy Tab which was followed by Asus Transformer Prime, Motorola Xoom, BlackBerry Playbook, Kindle Fire and the Nook tablet.

Chitika also commented about Apple that they not only have great products but also have a huge crowd following their products. With such a large number of fans following it is really very hard for their competitors.

Chitika also believes that Apple is also producing products which are both pleasing as well as technologically robust. However they also mentioned that the Android devices are becoming really popular in Asian countries.

It has also been recently reported by some analysts that the tablets are taking over the laptops. Richards Shim, NPD at DisplaySearch senior analyst has also mentioned that with the market maturing the competitors are becoming more attenuated to the consumer preferences and are even finding opportunities to break into new grounds. This is also resulting in providing the customers with more choices and changing the market landscape very fast.
