Windows 8 will feature an app store

Teaser
Application store will be one of the new features offered by windows 8

For the first time Microsoft has officially confirmed the Windows 8 project with a list of different teams, working on the upcoming operating system. From the list posted by Microsoft’s Steven Sinofsky it was also revealed that Windows 8 will have an application store.

We can assume from stores in other operating systems that applications will be available for the users in the store. We can just wait to see what extras will be added by Microsoft. In general app stores in an operating system offer user reviews and ratings, links to related apps, descriptions and photos — and in some cases knowledge that a team of professionals has vetted an app to make sure it doesn’t contain malware.

Earlier Microsoft has already showed that windows 8 will be offering a radically redesigned user interface which will be especially for the Tablets and computers with an interactive display. There will also be an interface for the normal Desktop with start menu and taskbar.
