And for this reason a lot of companies are offering cheap netbooks as well as other products specially designed for those countries.

A new netbook from Vodafone is also on its way to get launched. This netbook will be called Webbook and is more specifically from Vodafone’s subsidiary in South Africa called Vodacom. This netbook will be powered by Ubuntu and the price tag attached to it is only $188.

The packages the provided with this netbook are as, a 12month contract for $238 along with the modem and the SIM, and another package offers the netbook for $188 along with a contract of $24 per month for access on a two year contract, both the modem and the SIM are also included in the package.

Along with these two contracts one more option is also provided with an extra expense of the data subscription and hardware where the data allowance is low as 100MB if the customer choose the $238 option and 500MB is provided with $24 every month.
