Chinese manufacturer UMi announces the Hammer S for less than 120 Euros. The smartphone utilizes a metal chassis and 2 GB RAM.

While Chinese manufacturers like Xiaomi and Huawei are growing larger around the world, lesser-known company UMi recently announced the Hammer S smartphone.

The dominating feature of the Hammer S is the large 5.5-inch display and metal chassis. Additionally, the smartphone will sport a Type-C USB port. Core specifications are otherwise standard with a MediaTek 6735 SoC and 2 GB RAM.

Perhaps the real highlight of the smartphone is its low price of about 120 Euros considering the hardware. UMi plans to launch the Hammer S this August, though it is not yet known which regions will receive the device first. The manufacturer has also made no mention of the cameras, battery, or display resolution, either. We expect the remaining specifications to be revealed as we inch closer to release.
