According to a report by Jumptap, an advertising firm, the state of Maine had the highest tablet use in the USA this September. Other states following it are mainly vacation land spots like Hawaii, New Hampshire and Virginia. According to them in September, Maine had 20%, Wyoming 13%, Hawaii 12% and North Dakota, Alaska, Connecticut with 9% tablet users.

They also reported that 93% of tablet traffic comes over Wi-Fi while the iPad controlled the sector with 75% of usage. The Android and WebOS tablets traffic were at 20% and 4% respectively. The high usage of the tabs in the vacation states is mainly because of the vacationers as predicted by Jumptap.
