Toshiba AT200 hits Australia as the thinnest Android Tablet

Toshiba has recently released their touted thinnest and lightest tablet along with other product details for its early 2012 product lineup. The lightest tablet is called the AT200 and it is Toshiba’s third Generation tablet after last year’s AT100 and AT1S0.

The AT200 is set for shipping by early February with an RRP of $579. This model has a 10.1inch screen, and it weighs around 535gm (18.87Oz). This device will be powered by Android 3.2 and the screen of Gorilla Glass will be capable of providing 1280 x 800 pixels of resolution. For storage this model has a SSD of 16GB and also sports two cameras of 5megapixels at the rear and 2megapixels to its front.

Along with this net tablet they are also releasing their Ultrabook Satellite U840 which is priced at $1499. This model is a bit larger than the 13inch norm and is capable of providing 1366x768 pixels of resolution in its LED backlight display.

This Ultrabook will run on a Core i5 processor from Intel. This model sports a 320GB mechanical drive along with a 16GB SSD which can also be termed as the genre-skirting hybrid hard drive. This Ultrabook will sport three USB ports which include one USB 3.0 port. It also includes the other regular specifications which also includes the full sized HDMI port.

Although this is an Ultrabook but it feels like it is quite heavy as it weighs around 1.73kg (3.81pounds). The whole device is framed in a sleek ultra metallic silver finish which gives it an attractive look.

Along with these new releases Toshiba has also revised a AT1S0 tablet, as it is now also made available in a 16GB storage. They have also announced updates for the Qosmio notebook line with a revision for the Qosmio X770 and Qosmio F570 models.
