The original Transformer gets ICS update in February

The original Asus Eee Pad Transformer to receive its Ice Cream Sandwich update by mid of February as posted on Asus’ Facebook page

Earlier we have seen Asus Eee Pad Transformer Prime receiving the Ice Cream Sandwich update earlier this month. With its update Asus also promised to roll out Android 4.0 update for the earlier or the original Eee Pad Transformer. And now according to a post on the Asus Facebook page, this update will arrive for this tablet by mid of February.

The earlier model of the Transformer Prime was not with a quad-core processor, it had a dual-core processor. This model currently runs on Google Android 3.2 Honeycomb.

The latest version of Android by Google, the Ice Cream Sandwich is mainly designed to run Smartphones and tablets, and it also features new graphics, a new system-wide font, spellchecking, a new contact manager and a lot of other improvements.

After this model gets this update it will provide almost a complete new user experience for the consumers.
