The concept tablet Ecopad gets charged up by your touch

This concept tablet uses the energy released during your interaction with it to charge

This is only a concept right now, and like most other concepts out there, this might never become real as well. But what a concept it is! Imagine a tablet that is exactly like your brain – the more you work it out, the longer it works. That is what Jun-se Kim, Yonggu Do & Eunha Seo at Yanko Design envisioned – a tablet that would get charged by your energy while you are touching and typing on it.

Rightly called the Ecopad, this guy uses a nano piezoelectricity film that can extract energy emitting when your hands interact with the screen – be it a simple tap, or swiping, touching or pressing of any kind. An indicator on the side would keep on growing as you work on the system.
