The latest toy from Bresser will reach Germany shortly for 299 Euros (equivalent of $412)

Technology Geeks in Germany will have reason to rejoice as they would soon be able to lay their hands on a new Android Tablet showed off during Photokina 2010 in Germany by Bresser. The 7-inch Bresser MID 7 tablet has a 800 x 480 pixels of display resolution encased in a 8.3″ x 4.9″ x 0.47″ box.

By the looks of it, the tablet has a pretty sleek metallic look (but actually looks like a plastic body) with a super glossy screen. There are the Home, Menu and back buttons with the round navigation ball in between on one of the shorter sides. The webcam rests on the longer side – slightly off the middle. There is a physical shutter release button as well.

Claims made by the Company suggest that the device will be capable of supporting a battery life of up to 8 hours and will contain 4GB of memory space and 3G.

Keeping you connected via Wi-Fi, the Bresser MID 7 tablet will also come with USB connectivity and will contain a webcam to enable video chatting along with a physical button to be pressed for those perfect snapshots. The device will run on the Google Android 2.1, but there is no news of whether there will be updating to Android 2.2 in near future.

Solid buttons aptly placed upon its sides along with an optical mouse are some of the tablet’s notable externalities.

Weighing close to a pound, the 7-inch Bresser MID 7 tablet will be priced at $412 or 299 Euros.
