The BigBlue Cellpowa 2500 fast-charging power station is now available on Kickstarter
The BigBlue Cellpowa 2500 all-in-one portable power source has launched on Kickstarter. The company suggests that the gadget is helpful in an emergency, such as a power cut. The device has a 1,843 Wh LiFePO4 (lithium iron phosphate) battery with a 5,000 W max output allowing it to handle high power devices such as washing machines and refrigerators.
The gadget is billed as durable and portable, weighing 23 kg (55 lbs) and measuring 284 x 274 x 325 mm (15.1 x 10.89 x 12.8-in); BigBlue claims that it is the smallest power station on the market. The gadget has 14 outlets, including two USB-A fast charging ports, two USC-C 45 W ports, two USB-C 100 W ports, two DC 5.5 mm ports and a car charger cigarette lighter port.
The power source can recharge from 0 to 80% in an hour and a half using a 1200 W AC outlet and Bullet-D fast charging technology. The gadget also has pass-through charging, allowing you to continue using the device while it charges.
You can pair the device with SolarPowa 200 solar panels to recharge your device outdoors or off-grid. A built-in display shows you your current output and how much battery is left in the power station. You can control the machine using the touchscreen display or the BigBlue app.
You can now pledge US$1,099 to BigBlue’s Kickstarter campaign to receive the Cellpowa 2500, with the product expected to be delivered in September 2022. According to the company, the gadget will retail at US$1,999 after this pre-sale period.
