Intel Pentium Dual Core T3200 vs Intel Pentium Dual Core T2390

Intel Pentium Dual Core T3200

► remove from comparison

The Intel Pentium T3200 (or Intel Pentium Dual-Core T3200) is an entry level dual-core CPU for laptops. Compared to the Core 2 Duo CPUs, the T3200 has only 1 MB Level 2 cache and some power saving technology is deactivated. It is based on the older Merom core (compared to the T4200 that is based on the Penryn core).

Due to the slow clock rate and the small level 2 cache, the Pentium T3200 will limit the performance of demanding 3D games (e.g. Sumpreme Commander). For entry level applications like office, SD video cutting, image processing, Internet and casual gaming, the T4200 should be sufficient.

► remove from comparison

The Intel Pentium Dual-Core T2390 is an entry level dual-core processor that was announced in 2008. It is based on the old Merom core with some deactivated features (power saving, Virtualization). Due to the low clock rate, the slow FSB, and the small level 2 cache, the performance is only suited for non-demanding tasks.
