Samsung sends out invites for possible 10.1 Note event

Samsung's Galaxy Note 10.1 may already be available for pre-order, but the tablet/phone hybrid still hasn't even been officially launched by Samsung. Of course with all the writing on the wall, it was just a matter of time till the device surfaced and we may now be nearing the promised date.

In a message sent out today, Samsung is inviting members of the press to an event scheduled for the 15th of August, where they will "Meet the new way". The invite doesn't include many other details, but it does have a sketch of a tablet that includes artistic touches highly suggestive of a stylus functionality. 

The Note 10.1 is currently listed for $750 on its pre-order page, but that detail is suspect to change at any time. And while the majority of specs have already been unveiled, Samsung probably still has a few touches they'd like to add when they make their official announcement in a couple weeks.
