The mysterious SM-G903F may be related to the upcoming Galaxy S5 Neo.

Samsung has yet to formally introduce the SM-G903F despite it appearing in numerous leaks. Now, this specific model has reached the Wi-Fi Alliance for certification of 802.11ac connectivity. There is speculation that the model may be related to the upcoming Galaxy S5 Neo.

The S5 Neo is expected to be a 5.1-inch smartphone with a Super AMOLED display, 1080p resolution, 2 GB RAM, 16 GB eMMC, 2800 mAh battery, and a 64-bit 8-core Exynos 7580 SoC with integrated Mali-T720 graphics. Its rear and front cameras will be 15 MP f/1.9 and 5 MP, respectively.

Previous leaks put the SM-G903F at 142.0 x 72.5 x 8.1 mm and 145 grams with separate single SIM and dual SIM variants. The smartphone should run Android 5.1 Lollipop at launch and several online retailers in Eastern Europe are already listing the S5 Neo for pre-order with the model number SM-G9F. Prices start at 430 Euros for the white color option.
