OCZ to bid goodbye to RAM production for now, plans to intensify focus towards SSD’s
OCZ Technologies based in California, USA, is known for their production of Solid State Drives (SSDs), power supplies, and is best known for their watercooled and passively cooled heatpipe RAM lineup, solid state drives, and their power supplies. The Company in a major decision has publically come out with its intentions to quit producing computer memory and focus on production of Solid State Drives (SSDs) as the latter is seen to be delivering more profits to the enterprise, however OCZ plans to continue to support existing memory products.
February 28th is being touted as the date when the company will exit the DRAM module space.
