I began my tech journey on an Apple II and earned my B.S. in Computer Science in the age of BASIC and punch cards for FORTRAN. Since then, I've worn a lot of hats: I've worked with mainframes & UNIX, sold computers and CISCO servers, been part of a Microsoft CRM team, built databases, managed an internet café (yes, I did serve drinks and troubleshoot PCs), and delivered tons of PC training. Taking a break from computers there was also a detour to Uganda, where I directed health and primary school development programs in villages. Most recently, I’ve been assisting in a primary school music department, creating a music and instrument database between class duties. Throughout it all, I’ve kept up with tech, and my time with Notebookcheck since 2012 has been a highlight.
