New update to Android Marketplace promises speed boost

Teaser
A new Faster Android Market version is on its way for your Android devices

Google this time has released an upgrade to the Android Market with version 3.4.4. The market which hosts over millions of applications is changed a bit in order to provide a new experience to the users with a faster platform.

The latest Android Market will be on your devices soon but if you don’t want wait for it you can get it for full download at the link provided below. This update is to be installed as any non-Market application that is, no root is required.

In the setting menu you will come across changes in the language surrounding the automatic "add to home screen" feature. The menu also allows you to auto add widgets instead of shortcuts which might be in the Ice Cream Sandwich as it treats shortcuts at 1x1 widgets. Although there isn’t any real difference at the moment it is only another name for the shortcuts. But in the future editions we may expect the Market will automatically fill empty spaces with widgets.

This new market is definitely faster in transitions and approvals, even in low coverage areas as felt by some users. The basic boxed interface is quite the same only it is quite faster and navigation has been improved as far as the fluidity goes.

Well after all it mainly depends on the connection speed but it is for sure that you will experience a faster market with the same speed. Just try it.
