The Mediatek MTK 8317T is an inexpensive SoC for Android smartphones and tablets. The SoC is both based on and recognized as the Mediatek MT6577, but with a slightly higher clock rate of 1.2 GHz. The CPU cores are based on the Cortex-A9 architecture and the chip includes a PowerVR SGX531 GPU.

The MediaTek MT6577 is an inexpensive entry-level dual-core SoC for Android smartphones and tablets. It contains two Cortex-A9 cores clocked at 1 GHz and a PowerVR SGX531 graphics card. Furthermore, a 3G/HSPA modem is integrated onto the SoC.
