The Chinese manufacturer unveils its latest Cedar Trail netbook with a “leaked” promotional video advertising the device.
As can be seen in the elaborate video below, the IdeaPad S110 will include “Instant On” capabilities, an Atom N2600 CPU, 1GB RAM, 320GB HDD, USB 3.0 and optional 2MP webcam and 3G connectivity options. The 10.1-inch netbook will also weigh only 1.15kg (3.3 pounds) with a thickness of 16mm (0.63-inches) and be is expected to be available in a multitude of colors.
While the ad doesn’t hint at any price points, online retailer ProVantage.com has already listed the Lenovo netbook (model 206932U) for $321.62. According to the source, the S110 is not expected to ship until 3 to 4 weeks from now, which points to a formal CES reveal followed by an official launch some weeks later.
We expect no shortage of Cedar Trail-based netbooks or even tablets at CES 2012.
