The Intel Corporation has just unveiled their latest Atom processor, dubbed N435. This central processing unit is the new addition to Intel’s Atom Pine Trail line-up of CPUs and has already found its place in a number of mini-laptops.
The single core Atom N435 chip is clocked at 1.33GHz and has an approximate maximum Thermal Design Power (TDP) of 5W. In addition, the low-power consumption processor offers 512KB of cache and is currently the slowest Pine Trail CPU.
ASUS has built its latest EeePC X101 around the N435 and priced it at US $199. Intel’s new Atom chip will reportedly also be featured in the Lenovo IdeaPad S100, Samsung N100 and Acer Aspire One Happy 2.
