Huawei gives first look at its newest budget tablet

Teaser
The new S7 Slim will be an upgrade to last year’s S7 with more details coming at the MWC

The Chinese telecommunications company Huawei has released a few shots of their upcoming S7 Slim tablet, days ahead of this year’s Mobile World Conference. The pictures show a flat front, 3 front keys, and a bare but eye-pleasing design all around. The company has previously released its S7 tablet, which supported a Snapdragon processor and a 7-inch screen at 800 x 480 pixels resolution. The new S7 Slim is expected to come in a sleeker form factor and possibly upgraded internals, but specifications remain unknown. Tablets Planet, however, predicts that the new tablet may not sport Android 3.0 as the new OS does not require any front keys for navigation. This may suggest a cheaper price for the S7 Slim, similar to the budget friendly S7 tablet from last year.

Huawei is expected to show off more of its newest tablet at the Mobile World Conference next week.
