HP comes up with a new netbook for those who need a break from tablets. This 10.1” toy, called the HP Mini 100E, has nothing we have not seen in netbook till date – but suddenly feels a new product after the mad tablet rush has almost stalled netbook production for all major vendors.
The 10.1 screen has a TFT display panel, and powered by an Atom. It has 1GB of DDR3 RAM, and a 160GB hard disk drive. There are the usual features like Wi-Fi, Ethernet, Windows 7 Starter and wireless LAN aerial. The company throws in a card reader.
We are not sure about the price and availability, but will let you know as soon as we get to know. Wwe also are not sure about the processor it has, but if it is a dual-core Atom processor with a decent clock speed – you might as well stop to have a second look at it.
