Google adds Transit navigation to GMap for Honeycomb

Teaser
Now Android based Tablets can use transit navigation with the help of the latest update in the GMaps

Google has recently updated their Google maps but only for the Android Honeycomb users which will mainly be helpful for the tablet owners. The Android 3 tablet users will now avail the feature of transit navigation using GMaps on their tablets.

This will work in the same way as their Smartphone counterparts. A ringtone or any voice notification will be set which will notify when the users reaches the provided destination.

Another experimental feature is also added termed as Bubble Buttons, which is a way to add buttons to call or navigate to a point directly from a map result.

With all these new updates it also has some limitations as it will need Android 3.0 version at least on the tablet and the transit navigation facility is limited to only a few cities which will definitely going to increase in the near future.
