Get live TV on your iPad2 through Elgato EyeTV Mobile dongle

There was a time when we used to watch TV sitting on a couch and enjoyed. But it’s just a memory for those who get into a job and chase his dreams to make up with the pace of the world. With days passing by technology has brought to our phones or tabs with a facility of online broadcast. Now another step ahead has been taken by some inventors.

Elgato earlier had an application for watching TV on the iPad by streaming the broadcast which was only possible if that particular program was broadcasted online. Now they have taken that one step ahead for watching TV on your iPad without any online broadcast. For a normal broadcast to be viewed in a particular computer or laptop we need a TV-tuner card. The same was not present in future for any Tablet. But now Elgato’s EyeTV Mobile will soon be allowing the iPad users to watch TV on their tab itself with this tuner.

The EyeTV Mobile is all set to be released by the end of September for a price of about $163. This tuner gets connected to your iPad’s proprietary port. The tuner will be able to pull in MPEG 2 streams over DVB-T, but won’t work with DVB-T2 broadcasts like Freeview HD.

With this device it’s really like bringing the TV with you into your office or anywhere else. This won’t be a bad news for the TV addicts, people who like to be updated with the news all the time and some sports lovers.
