Eurocom to release its most powerful 15-inch notebook thus far

Teaser
The EUROCOM P150HM Racer will be a laptop powerhouse expected to ship next month.

Known for developing high-end desktop replacements for the mobile sector, Eurocom will soon release the Eurocom Racer, a 15.6-inch notebook jam-packed with specs normally found in top-of-the-line desktops. The Racer is a follow-up to the company’s previous outing, the 18.4” Eurocom x8100 Leopard, which is another high-end laptop with Core i7 and SLI or ATI CrossFireX configurations.

The new Eurocom Racer will be highly configurable and will feature a full HD screen at 1920 x 1080 pixel resolution with the option to be matte or glossy. Supported CPUs will include the Intel Sandy Bridge up to Core i7-2920XM with a maximum of 32GB of RAM and 1.5TB of storage space. The laptop will also support both high-end NVIDIA and AMD GPUs with SLI and CrossFireX support, respectively. Connectivity options include the common 9-in-1 card reader, Gigabit Ethernet, DVI, HDMI, eSATA, Bluetooth, and USB 3.0 ports. Noticeably absent from the system, however, is the aging VGA port.

The Eurocom Racer is expected to release February 1, 2011. Starting prices have yet to be announced, but is safe to assume that it won’t come cheap.
