Dell Vostro V131 now available

Notebook includes a wide range of connectivity options, including WiMAX and WiDi, for under $800
Allen Ngo,

Dell has recently released a new edition to its notebook lineup designed for the small business market.

Called the Vostro V131, the 13.3-inch notebook can be customized with up to a 2.3GHz Core i5-2410M CPU, 4GB RAM, 500GB HDD at 7200RPM and support for 3G and/or WiMAX connectivity. Otherwise, the model comes standard with a backlit keyboard, 2x USB 3.0, 1x USB 2.0/eSATA combo, Intel WiDi, HDMI, VGA, multi-card reader, gigabit Ethernet and an HD camera. Battery life is listed for up to 9.5 hours off of its 6-cell battery. For a sub 14-inch netbook that is only about 0.63 inches (1.6cm) thick, the Vostro V131 definitely includes a healthy number of physical and wireless connectivity options.

The notebook is available now through the official Dell online store starting at $499 up to $799, depending on configuration. The standard 1 year basic warranty and 1 year on-site service are included.
