Dell Adamo successor to be known as XPS 15z?

Teaser
Leaked photos detail Dell’s Adamo replacement line that should begin with the XPS 15z

We have previously heard that Dell had been working on a successor to their thin-and-light notebook lineup, and now a few images of the new series have managed to pop up. The good folks over at Mobile Review were able to get their hands on a set of photos detailing the new notebooks, which will apparently start with the XPS 15z.

Similar to what was previously reported, the 15.6” XPS 15z is the first notebook in the new thin and light lineup and will be followed up by 14” and 17” models. In addition, the new notebooks should be sporting the latest Sandy Bridge processors and will be available in Core i5 and Core i7 flavors.

Although Dell’s Adamo notebooks featured a distinguished sleek look, the new 15z doesn’t appear to follow the same methodology. In addition to a more curvaceous feel, the notebook also features a slightly ominous speaker grill along both sides of the keyboard.

In any case, feel free to come up with your own conclusions regarding the new design after checking out the following photos. And if you remain unimpressed, then hopefully future press photos will manage to display the notebooks in a more favorable light.
