Cirago CST6000 USB 3.0 portable HDD is now available

Measuring 3.25-inch x 5 1/3-inch x 0.5-inch, the CST6000 is slim and also has a size small enough to fit in your pocket. An aluminum casing helps make for a light-weight device. The device is Plug and Play supported and works with Windows, Mac, and Linux based computers to easily support sharing of your data, video, music or pictures.

The device is set to be offered at a price point ranging from $69.99 to $99.99 and in capacities of 250GB, 320GB, 500GB and 640GB. USB 3.0 is the latest buzz in town and is all about speed and more speed. In fact this technology is supposed to be 10 times faster than the older USB 2.0. Although actual reviews have found a speed difference much less (about 3-4 times) than what was expected, USB 3.0 is still blazing fast. Not all portable PCs today come with USB 3.0 ports, but devices using this technology are coming out rapidly and users now have a range of USB 3.0 devices to choose from.
