Cherry Mobile might not be the hottest manufacturer out there, but their latest tablet definitely offers serious bang for the budget-shopper's buck. The company recently took the wraps off their Fusion Bolt tablet, a budget device that's powered by a quad-core CPU.
Although the Fusion Bolt is simply a rebranded Ainol Venus, it still packs a 1.0 GHz, quad-core ARM Cortex CPU, 8GB of internal storage and 1GB of RAM. In addition, the tablet features a 7" IPS display with a resolution of 1280x800 pixels, runs Android 4.1 Jelly Bean and has a microSD expansion slot of up to 32GB.
While the technical specs on the tablet might not be the fanciest, its $99 price tag definitely makes up for some of its shortcomings. Unfortunately, the Fusion Bolt appears to be exclusive to the Phillippines, where it should debut sometime this March.
