During Nvidia’s press conference yesterday, both the GPU maker and Asus introduced onstage a mysterious new 7-inch Tegra 3 tablet set to retail for $249 at launch. Now, more details have surfaced on this ultra-inexpensive tablet.
The small Memo 370T tablet will sport some impressive specs beyond what we expected from both its size and cost. The tablet will sport the quad-core Tegra 3, 1280x800 resolution IPS display and 1GB RAM. The device will also house a number of connectivity options including micro USB, micro HDMI and a microSD card reader. The built-in 8MP rear camera may even be similar to the one found in the Transformer Prime (now called Transformer T201).
Considering the retail cost, the Memo tablet has really gotten us excited about its eventual performance. Unfortunately, we’ll have to wait until at least the second half of 2012 before we can get our hands on one.
