Asus Flare netbook up for pre-order now for $299

ASUS Eee PC Flare 1025C is up for pre-orders at Amazon for $300 and is expected to start shipping from 10th of March

Asus’ latest Eee PC Flare 1025C which was being unveiled at the CES is now up for pre-orders at Amazon. Initially they have offered two color options for the Netbook, Matte Black and White. According to their site the Netbook will start shipping from March 10, 2012. 

According to earlier details this model is powered by a 1.6GHz Intel Atom N2600 dual core processor, and will have 1GB of DDR3 RAM. It will sport a 10.1inch LED display which will be capable of supporting 1024 x 600 pixels of resolution. It will also be equipped with a 320GB HDD with a 5400 RPM. 

This Netbook has a six-cell, 56WHr battery which will be capable of providing it a backup of about 12.5 hours. Apart from all these, this Netbook weighs under 3pounds. If you were waiting for such a Netbook with all those features and a long back up time that just go for the pre orders.
